Kesemua warna yang berbeza-beza ini adalah merupakan spesis sama Eucheuma Cottonii / Tambalang Red Brown [Kappaphycus Alvarezii] yang dikeringkan di luar dan terdedah kepada matahari dan angin gersang. Cara pengeringan ini adalah paling baik, bersih serta dapat mengekalkan antara 80 - 90% kandungan rumpai segar asal.

Warna asal tambalang red brown ialah coklat merah sebelum Warnanya bertukar dari fasa ke fasa bergantung kepada kering dan lembab cuaca atau suhu persekitaran tempat bilik penyimpanan rumpai laut kering ini.

Fasa 1: Untuk tempoh sehingga sebulan, kesegaran dan warna permulaan kering adalah Ungu sedikit violet. Pada peringkat ini kadar kandungan antioksidanya adalah tinggi.

Fasa 2 & 3: Dari 1 - 3 bulan warnanya akan akan bertukar kepada violet kemerahan dan coklat muda.

Fasa 4 & 5: Dari 4 - 12 bulan, warnanya akan bertukar ke coklat dan coklat gelap. Oleh kerana ia adalah paling kering, kadar serat rumpai adalah tinggi pada peringkat ini.

Seaweed Grade AAA => Purple / Violet / Dark Brown

All color variance actually belong to the same Eucheuma Eottonii / Red Brown [Kappaphycus Alvarezii] seaweed species. It is dried outdoor and exposed to the sunshine and dry hot wind. This is the best drying method, clean and capable of maintaining between 80 to 90% of the original content of fresh seaweed.

The original color is red before turning out phase by phase depending on the dryness of weather or the humidity of the storage.

Phase 1: For a period of up to a month, the freshness and starting color of dried seaweed  is purple with a bit of violet. At this stage the antioxidant content rate is high.

Phase 2 & 3: From 1 to 3 months the color will changed into violet and reddish brown.

Phase 4 & 5: From 4 to 12 months, the color will turn into brown and dark brown. This is supposed to be the most dry seaweed condition and therefore, the state of weed's fiber is high at this stage.
